Kristin Forbes - 2032 AC
Bio
Kristin grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, and played three sports in high school: club lacrosse, club soccer, and basketball. She was a midfielder/defender at Mt. Hebron High School, coached by Chris and Scott Robinson, where she earned All-County selection and helped lead her team to an undefeated season and the #1 ranking in the nation. She also played club lacrosse for PJ Kesmodel, and her team defeated the National Australian Team.
Kristin played lacrosse on scholarship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then went on to earn a doctorate in physical therapy from UMB.
Kristin currently works as a physical therapist at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Shock Trauma Center. She is also a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she has been awarded Faculty of the Year consecutive years.
In addition to her work, Kristin is also a passionate coach. She has coached various club teams and camps after college, and she recently coached her older daughter’s inaugural club lacrosse team. She was awarded the Sue Schooley Award for her coaching, which recognizes coaches who exemplify character, integrity, and empower their players to be their best on and off the field.
Kristin lives in Sykesville, Maryland, with her husband David and daughters, Mia and Brielle.
