Chris has compiled a 49-3 record at Lake Highland with a Florida state championship and another state championship runner up finish. He was the head coach at McDonogh for thirteen years compiling a 257-9 record. His teams won ten IAAM championships and placed two other teams in the finals. His McDonogh teams were #1 in the country for nine straight years and compiled a national record 177 game winning streak. Before McDonogh, he was the head coach at Mt. Hebron compiling five state championships and two #1 national rankings and a 106-9-1 overall record. Chris’s overall high school coaching record is 412-21-1. Chris’s M&D 2014 Black team won 23 tournament championships and the M&D 2019 Black won 25 championships.
Scott Robinson
Director of Operations
Scott brings a wealth of experience including having been a head coach with M&D from its inception in 2001 until 2017. Scott coached the 2005, 2012, and 2018 M&D Black teams. All three teams were widely regarded as the best teams in the country in their age group. Over 60 girls from those teams went onto play collegiate lacrosse. Scott was also the long-time defensive coordinator at McDonogh and Mt Hebron High Schools. Both McDonogh and Mt. Hebron were the top high school girls’ lacrosse teams in the country during his tenure. Scott has been a long-time basketball coach. He was an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Johns Hopkins. He was also head coach for a Mt Hebron High School basketball team in 2008 that finished with a 28-0 record and Maryland State Champions. Most recently he has coached girls’ basketball at Howard High School where his teams have won five consecutive Howard County Championships, and six Howard County championships in the last seven years. His 2020 team finished the season with a perfect 25-0 record and advanced to the state championship. The pandemic forced the cancellation of the state championship.
Kaitlin Paukovits

Kaitlin is from Ellicott City, Maryland where she played for M&D Lacrosse and Our Lady of Good Counsel HS until 2010. While at Good Counsel, she helped the Falcons win four straight WCAC Championships. After High School she went on to play DI lacrosse at Towson University. While at Towson she helped the team to win three Colonial Athletic Conference (CAA) Championships (2011-2014) and made three NCAA tournament appearances with the Tigers. Her In 2013 she was named the CAA Tournament MVP and in 2014 named team Co-Captain as a Senior.
Her lacrosse career continued when she moved to Chicago and began work with Lakeshore lacrosse as the coach of the National Premier 2022 team, Tournament Director, Recruiting Specialist, and Director of Individual and Small Group Training. In addition to her roles through Lakeshore Lacrosse, Kaitlin also coached the Montini Catholic High School as the Head Coach of the Varsity girls lacrosse program through the 2017 & 2018 seasons and began work as a National Girls Lacrosse League (NGLL) Regional Director in the Midwest.
Upon moving back to the East Coast, she began work as the NGLL Assistant Director as well as the MidAtlantic Regional Director. She also stepped in as an Assistant coach for the Kent Island Girl’s Varsity lacrosse team. She most recently was the Club Director & Recruiting Coordinator for M&D Lacrosse Orlando from 2019-2022.

Arvak was the Head Coach at Southern High School from 2006 to 2020. He has been with M&D since 2002 and spent years coaching M&D 2006 Black, M&D 2011 Black and M&D 2017 Black to numerous championships. Arvak has been coaching girls’ lacrosse for the past 15 years and coached boys’ JV lacrosse at Glenelg High School for five years prior to his start in girls’ lacrosse. Arvak is also the Commissioner for SCYA Rec club in Anne Arundel County. He has also specifically coached goalies for the past 20 years, with players going on to play at Hopkins, Navy, James Madison, Duquesne, Kennesaw State and more.
John graduated from Towson University with a degree in Physical Education and Health. He has amassed three decades of lacrosse experience as either a player or coach. John has coached both girls’ and boys’ high school lacrosse and has also coached every level of the MYLA girls’ program through North Carroll Recreation. As a high school coach, John was the offensive coordinator and Assistant Coach for North Carroll High Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse and Manchester Valley Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse. John also spent 10 years coaching Varsity girls’ basketball at North Carroll High School. The 2018 Westminster Girls Lacrosse team he assisted was 2018 Maryland State 3A Lacrosse champions.

As a player, Mark attended The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland where he played lacrosse, soccer, and basketball. He was a three-year starter for the Varsity lacrosse team, playing both attack and midfield. Mark earned First Team All-State honors and received the Maryland State All Star game MVP. He then played attack at the University of Virginia, making two National Championship game appearances. Mark has been coaching youth lacrosse, soccer, and basketball for several years and strives to develop young athletes’ skills, field sense and confidence.
Albert (Peck) Burmeister

Peck graduated from UMBC in 1990 with a degree in developmental psychology and was also a member of the men’s lacrosse program while there. Upon graduation he continued his playing career for several club teams until his retirement from the game in 2010. Peck began his coaching career at Linganore High School (Frederick County) where he was the head coach of the boy’s program from 2000-2007 and then the assistant head coach for the boys’ program at North Carroll High School during the 2012-2014 seasons. During his time at North Carroll he helped them to reach the state finals for the first time in school history. Finally, he has been a head coach for 5 seasons with the North Carroll Recreation Council girl’s lacrosse program and currently lives in Hampstead, Md. with his wife Lisa and daughter Natalie.

Kristin graduated in 2016 from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Psychology and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team. After graduating from Hopkins she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Prior to attending Hopkins she graduated from Manchester Valley High School where she was a 2x All-County and All-Conference midfielder. She has experience coaching Momentum Club Lacrosse for 2 seasons. Kristen currently works as a Physical Therapist for Johns Hopkins Health System in Lutherville, MD
Kerri O’Day

The coach of the current NGLL national champions for the 2025 division. KJ played college lacrosse for and coached at Loyola University Maryland. As a player, KJ was a three time All American, with IWLCA First Team honors in 1996 and 1997. She led the NCAA in scoring in 1997 and won the Ernest Lagna Award given to Loyola’s top Senior female student-athlete. Additionally, KJ was a member of Team USA, was inducted into the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2008 and most recently was inducted into Loyola Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. She also coached at Loyola for 10 years, serving as an Assistant Coach, Associate Head Coach and later as the Head Coach of the Greyhounds.

Alison coached lacrosse at Maryvale for eight seasons in the IAAM A conference. She has been coaching in the MYLA League for LTRC Lacrosse for the past eight years at the Tyker and Lightning levels. Prior to starting her coaching career, Alison played high school, college and club lacrosse.

Jen has vast lacrosse coaching experience. While attending St. Mary’s in Annapolis she was a three-year starter as a goalie in both soccer and lacrosse, earning first team All-County and All-Metro honors in both sports. She was named St. Mary’s Female Athlete of the Year in 1997 and enjoyed a stellar career in lacrosse at James Madison.
Molly Fleming

Molly is an M&D alum, having played for the highly successful M&D 2012 Black team. She is a graduate from Marriotts Ridge High School where she was a three time All County defender and won one Maryland State Championship there as well. Molly is a 2016 graduate from the University of Maryland and was a member of the women’s lacrosse team there, earning two National Championship titles during her playing career. Molly is currently a preschool teacher and Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Glenelg Country School.

Brian has a comprehensive background coaching a variety of youth sports. Brian played baseball and basketball at Centennial High School. His athletic prowess earned him in high school earned him a sport in the Centennial High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He continued his baseball career playing at Mt. St. Mary’s College. Brian is currently an Account Manager for Abbvie Pharmaceutical.

Mary is the head coach for the 2021 IAAM champion St Paul’s school. Mary has a BA from Loyola University in MD where she played both Division 1 field hockey and lacrosse on an athletic scholarship. At Loyola, she was a four-year starter in both sports and was named to the 1987 and 1988 All South Atlantic Lacrosse Teams. Mary was named to the 1980’s All Decade Lacrosse Team for Anne Arundel County, elected to the Severna Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame and nominated to the Greater Baltimore Lacrosse Hall of Fame. She is currently the Varsity Coach for St. Paul’s School for Girls’ lacrosse, in Lutherville. In 2000, Mary earned Coach of the Year honors from the Baltimore Sun. Mary has been coaching for M&D Lacrosse for the past six years. This is her eighth year with M&D 2021 Black.

Logan Edmondson

Logan is currently a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Women’s Lacrosse team at Johns Hopkins University. Logan graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School in 2016 where she was a four-year Varsity lacrosse player and a three-year Varsity field hockey player. Logan’s high school achievements provided her Division I opportunities to play either lacrosse or field hockey. Logan verbally committed to the University of Louisville for lacrosse, but later decided to play field hockey and attend the University of Maryland to pursue her degree in the nationally ranked Criminal Justice program. While at Maryland, Logan was a 4x member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad, 3x Big Ten Academic All-American, 2x Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and 1x NFHCA Scholar of Distinction. Additionally, during her time at Maryland, Logan was part of team(s) that won regular season Big Ten titles in 2016, 2018, and 2019, the Big Ten Tournament Championship in 2018, and appeared in the 2017 and 2018 National Championship games. Logan graduated from Maryland with a B.S. in Psychology and Criminology and Criminal Justice in December 2019 and is currently pursuing her MBA at Johns Hopkins University where she is also serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Women’s Lacrosse team. In the Spring of 2020, Logan returned to her high school alma mater where she was the Head Coach of the Freshman team before joining the Hopkins Coaching Staff. Logan is in her 4th season with M&D and closing in on her 8th year coaching club lacrosse.

Terry has over 22 years of coaching experience within Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a high school coach. He has coached for M&D for seven years and has over 13 years’ experience coaching club lacrosse. After growing up in Baltimore, he went on to attend Catonsville Community College and then the University of Maryland. Terry has over 25 years of post-collegiate playing experience, including playing for Team Toyota and Smartlink Lacrosse Club as well having over 15 years of Canadian Box Lacrosse experience. Terry has served as the MidAtlantic Coordinator for the Brine National Lacrosse Classic as well President for the Chesapeake Chapter of US Lacrosse.

The coach of the 2021 NGLL National Champions for the 2027 grad year, Coach McCarthy has been the Head boys’ lacrosse Coach at Mount Hebron for the past 14 years. After playing for Mount Hebron in the late 90’s Coach McCarthy went on to play at St. Andrews University where he earned All-Conference honors 4 times, and All- American honors while leading his team to the Division II Final Four. Under Coach McCarthy the Vikings have won Howard County and Maryland State Region titles and had several players earn Player of the Year Honors. Mike also served as head football coach at Mt. Hebron. Mike has coached girls’ youth sports the last three years.

Tammi has been coaching youth lacrosse for North Carroll Girls Lacrosse for five years and coaching youth field hockey for North Carroll Storm for four years, leading her teams to several undefeated seasons. Tammi also serves on the Boards for both programs. She was a four-year Varsity lacrosse player in high school where she earned three MVP awards and a three-year Varsity field hockey player where she also earned three MVP awards. She earned the Helen Louise Streiby Coach’s Lacrosse Scholarship, the National Navy Scholar-Athlete Award and was selected for several All-Star teams including the Maryland Leukemia All Star team in 1992. Tammi attended Loyola University where she earned both a BA and an MBA.

Ashley is the current President of the University of Maryland Women’s Club Lacrosse team. She is a sophomore public health major on the Pre-PA track. Before attending UMD, she graduated from Mount Hebron High School in Ellicott City, MD where she was named first team All-Howard County in 2021 and second team All-Howard County in 2019. In her senior season, she was the second leading goal scorer in Howard County and fourth overall in points. As a freshman, she helped lead her team to the Maryland 3A State Championship. Throughout her time at Mount Hebron, she was captain of the Varsity lacrosse, field hockey, and basketball teams. Ashley was a member of the M&D 2021 Black team for 8 years.

Natalie is entering her 7th year coaching M&D. She opened Marriotts Ridge High School where she and a team of coaches and athletes won 3 state championships. During that time she earned coach of the year honors for Varsity Sports Network, Howard County Times, Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, and ESPN National Coach of the Year. She assisted the Marriotts Ridge Soccer Team as well. Prior to MRHS she coach the varsity lacrosse team for Bethesda Chevy Chase High School where her team won a regional championship and earning coach of the year for the Gazette and assisted the competitive soccer program as well. Before starting her teaching career she was a graduate assistant for McDaniel College where she assisted the lacrosse and field hockey program while earning her masters degree.
As a college athlete she played and captained the soccer and lacrosse teams for Western Maryland College (now McDaniel) where she earned all conference honors in both sports and regional all American honors and participated in the IWLCA senior all star game for lacrosse. For the college she earned the Faith Millard for the senior woman with the most outstanding athletic record.

Jimmy Creighton

Coach Creighton has been the 2028 Black head coach for 4 years since 2018. He is currently the athletic director at River Hill High School. Prior to this position, he was the head coach of the Howard H.S. boys’ lacrosse program for 11 years. In his 11 years as head coach, his teams compiled a 135-38 record, 6 regional titles, 3 county titles and an undefeated state title in 2015 (19-0). He was named Baltimore Sun and Washington Post Coach of the Year in 2015 along with being named US Lacrosse Coach of the Year 2013-2015. In addition, Creighton was named the Maryland public school coach of the year by the state coaches association in 2015. Creighton played his college ball at Salisbury University as a midfielder, playing on three national championship teams (2003-2005) and was an assistant coach for another (2007). He was named a USILA HM All-American, a Scholar All-American and a USILA North-South Senior All-Star during his senior season. He was also a team captain during his senior campaign.
Annie Houghton

Annie is from Linthicum, Maryland (Anne Arundel County) where she was a 4-year Varsity starter at North County High School. While at North County she helped the Knights to the State Semi-Finals during her Junior year and earned all-county honors as a defender. She was named Captain as a Senior. After high school she went on to play at Frostburg State University. While at Frostburg she helped her team receive ECAC Tournament bids in both her Junior and Senior seasons. She started all 58 games of her collegiate career, playing both defense and midfield and recorded 30 goals, 19 assists, 62 draw controls and 120 groundballs. Annie was a 2x captain and a 2x Academic All-American.
Her lacrosse career shifted from player to coach in 2001 when she became a Graduate Assistant Coach at Frostburg State University. She coordinated the program’s recruiting efforts and assisted with all aspects of coaching, planning and administrative tasks. Upon receiving her master’s degree in 2003, she accepted her first teaching position at Dundalk High School in Baltimore County, Maryland. She was the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Dundalk High School from 2004-2007. She helped take the team from a 3-11 record during her first season to an 11-3 record in her second year as head coach. She led the Varsity Owls to a 37-19 record during her time as Head Coach.
In 2007 she took time off to pursue a second master’s degree and to start a family. She returned to coaching in the spring of 2015 with Severna Park High School. She served as the JV Assistant Coach during her first two years and became the Head JV Coach in 2017. In her 6 years as Head JV Coach she has amassed a 56-1-1 record and led her team to the first-ever Anne Arundel County JV Lacrosse County Championship in 2022.
In addition to coaching at the collegiate and high school levels, she coaches club lacrosse as well. She was the Head Coach of the 2019 API/East Coast Select team from 2015-2018. She joined the M&D family in the fall of 2021 and is currently the Assistant Coach of the 2028 Black team.
Matt Haley

Matt Haley has over 20 years of experience coaching high school lacrosse. He started his coaching career at his high school alma mater, St Marys Ryken, in Leonardtown, MD, before moving into an assistant coach role at Mt Hebron High School in Ellicott City for the last 15 years.
In his time at Ryken and Mt Hebron, he has helped lead teams to the WCAC Championship,Howard County Championship, two regional championships, and two state finals appearances. He was also named USA Lacrosse Assistance Coach of the Year. He’s incredibly proud of the accomplishments of the players he’s coached, including 8 USA Lacrosse All Americans, 7 USA Lacrosse Academic All Americans, 60+ All County and All Conference Players, and over 40 players who’ve gone on to play at the collegiate level.
Kristin Griffith

Born and raised in Easton, Maryland, Kristin graduated from Saints Peter Paul High School in 2014 as an Academic All-American. She continued to play at the next level where she attended George Mason University and majored in Sports Marketing. Kristin found success in her four years as a Division I athlete, leading her team to four Atlantic10 Conference Championships and contributing to the accolade of the winningest class in George Mason Women’s Lacrosse history. She was named a 2017 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-American. During her time at Mason, she coached a local Northern Virginia club team and upon graduating began coaching at Easton High School. In 2021, Kristin led Easton High School Women’s Lacrosse to State Semi-Finals and graduated three players to the Division I level. She moved to Garrison Forest in Spring 2022 where she coached both JV and Varsity lacrosse.

Laura brings an extensive and successful high school and club coaching background with her. Laura was the head coach for the highly successful 2012 M&D Red team and was a long-time assistant coach at her alma mater Mt. Hebron. While at Mt. Hebron she was part of the coaching staff that won 103 consecutive games, was state champions and the top ranked high school team in the country. Laura also served as the head JV coach at Mt. Hebron winning the Howard County championship each year she coached.
Mackenzie Wenczkowski

Mackenzie Wenczkowski enters her 2nd year coaching at M&D Lacrosse Club. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and is now working as a Sales Engineer in Baltimore, MD. Wenczkowski played high school lacrosse at South Carroll High School in Sykesville, MD where she was an all-county attacker, Under Armour All-American, and Brine All-American. She was voted captain in both her junior and senior years. She totaled over 130 goals and 75 assists in 3 seasons as she missed her freshman year season due to injury. She was named 2017 Girl’s High School All-Academic and 2017 Jackie Pitts Award Winner by US Lacrosse. She also played club lacrosse for M&D Lacrosse Club for four years under Coach Katie Lee. In addition to lacrosse, she was also the captain of the soccer team and was named an all-county midfielder. Wenczkowski then played D1 lacrosse at Mercer University her freshman year before transferring to the University of South Carolina where she played on the club lacrosse team
Amanda Brady

Amanda is entering her 16th year coaching M&D. She is currently the head coach at Marriotts Ridge High School. Amanda just came off a repeat state championship with the Mustangs (21 & 22). She has helped lead them to five state championships over the past ten years. Amanda has previously coached the 2011 Red team, 2015 Black team, one year with the 2023 Black team, & 3 years with the 2024 Black team before taking the lead with the 2029s. Her 2015s consisted of Tewaaraton Award Winner Megan Taylor, Tewaaraton Award Nominee Jen Giles, current Athletes Unlimited stud Caroline Wakefield, among many others. In college, she played at Division 3 powerhouse under Coach Nestor at Salisbury University where she helped lead her team to make 4 NCAA tournament appearances, 2 final four appearances, and 1 championship appearance.
Melissa McCarthy

Melissa graduated from Frostburg State University with a degree in both Health and Physical Education, while competitively playing Field Hockey and Lacrosse. After graduating from FSU, she coached Varsity Girl’s Lacrosse and Field Hockey at Long Reach High School for eight years. She then made a professional change in schools and coaching at the high school level to be able to coach her children’s rec soccer and lacrosse programs for the past 6 years. Melissa is excited to now be able to assistant coach the 2029 team and be part of such an elite club program.
Ken Senisi

Coach began playing lacrosse as a child growing up in Massapequa, New York. While playing for St. John the Baptist, Coach Senisi was recognized two-times as an all Long Island Defenseman. He then continued playing lacrosse at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts and Salisbury University. He was the recipient of the Male Athlete of the Year at Dean College, honored as an All-American Defenseman, and was inducted into their Hall of Fame.
As an experienced teacher in Howard County, Coach Senisi has served as the Defensive Coordinator at both Marriott’s Ridge High School and Centennial High School as well as the Howard Community College Men’s Head Lacrosse Coach. Senisi was named the USA Lacrosse Howard County Coach of the Year for Centennial High School. In addition to his coaching credentials, Coach Senisi has organized and developed several lacrosse camps and programs throughout Maryland.

Kayleigh Scharff is currently in her fourth-year coaching with M&D. Prior to coaching the 2030 team Kayleigh assisted with the M&D 2020 Black Team. Kayleigh played lacrosse at Severn School and Quinnipiac University. Following her college graduation Kayleigh was both a JV coach and a varsity assistant lacrosse coach at Severn School. She is currently a preschool teacher at St. Paul’s Pre and Lower School and is the assistant JV coach at St. Paul’s School for Girls.
Shawn Nadelen

Shawn is currently the Head Men’s Lacrosse coach at Towson University. Shawn has a broad lacrosse background that includes leading Towson to the NCAA Final Four in 2017. That same year Shawn was named USILA Division 1 Coach of the Year. His Towson teams have made five NCAA tournament appearances. Shawn was a four year starter at Johns Hopkins as both a midfielder and defenseman. He helped lead the Blue Jays to two Final Four appearances.

2030 Red HC
Taylor is from LaGrange, IL and started playing lacrosse through IGLA 13 years ago. In high school, she was a 3-year varsity goalie for Lyons Township High School earning All-West Suburban League honors twice and Defensive MVP. Taylor went on to play Division III lacrosse for Carthage College. She was a 2-year captain and received CCIW Defensive MVP and First Team All-Regional honors two years in a row. She graduated from Carthage with a degree in Physical Education, Health Education, and Adapted Studies. Taylor has coached lacrosse from the kindergarten level to the collegiate level since 2011. She currently teaches physical education, is the head varsity coach of the Downers Grove Co-Op team and coaches with the National Premier program. Taylor was named the IHSA Rookie Coach of the Year in 2018.

Samantha Brookhart
2031 Black HC
Samantha is a former M&D player and Under Armour All American. This year Samantha helped coach Mt. Hebron into the Maryland State Championship. Samantha is a graduate from Towson University where she and her team won two CAA titles. She is also the all-time leader in single game, single season, and career assists for Towson, and the single game and single season record holder for the CAA. Sam plays professionally for the Baltimore Brave and was an assistant coach on the M&D 2016 and 2019 Black teams.
Jill Brookhart
2031 Black AC
Jill is currently an Assistant Girls’ Varsity lacrosse coach at Mt. Hebron High School. Jill also has extensive experience coaching with M&D. Jill was the Head Coach of the 2016 M&D Black team and was an assistant with the 2018 M&D Black team. Jill played collegiately at McDaniel College.
Conrad Brookhart
2031 Black AC
Conrad is a long time Physical Education teacher in the Howard County Public School System. He is currently an Assistant Girls’ Varsity lacrosse coach at Mt. Hebron High School. Conrad has an extensive background coaching lacrosse, including coaching boys lacrosse at Centennial and Howard High Schools.
