Sydney is joining M&D with over 20 years of lacrosse experience both as a player and as a coach. Originally from Medina, Ohio where she won 2 Division I State Championships, she also played club lacrosse for Ohio Premier and Midwestern Force. She graduated and played four years of lacrosse at Loyola University Maryland as a starting midfielder and captain winning multiple Big East and Patriot League championships and seeing several Elite Eight appearances graduating in 2015. She moved to Boston, MA where she was the assistant coach at Newton Country Day School for a season before taking a head coaching position at Buckingham Browne & Nicols School where she coached there for 6 seasons. Sydney also played one season of professional lacrosse with the UWLX playing for Boston Storm in 2018. She coached club with Laxachusetts for the last 9 years before most recently moving back to Baltimore.
