Rory Black - 2033 Black
Bio
Rory is from Baltimore where she started playing lacrosse with Catonsville Rec in 2007 before joining Hero’s in 2013. She graduated from Catonsville High School in 2018 where she was a 4-year Varsity player on the girl’s lacrosse team.
She continued her playing career at the University of Mary Washington, competing at the collegiate level from 2018 to 2022 while earning her degree in Mathematics. Rory then pursued a Master’s in Data Science at the University of Virginia, where she stayed involved in the sport as a student manager for the UVA women’s lacrosse program during the 2022–2023 season.
Rory joined M&D as an assistant coach for the 2027 Red team before taking on a head coaching role with the 2033 Black team in 2023. She brings a passion for developing players both on and off the field, along with a deep love for the game.
