Bio
Kerry Walser is a Long Island native. Kerry started playing travel lacrosse in 5th grade where she was a defender for Long Island Top Guns, 2019 Black Team until her junior year in High School. Kerry also played lacrosse at St. Patrick’s elementary School and was on the Varsity Lacrosse Team at St. John the Baptist and then at Bay Shore High School where she played as a Midfielder. Kerry’s love of lacrosse continued at Hofstra University where Kerry was a four-year starter as a Midfielder and as an Attacker for the Division I Hofstra Pride. Kerry’s speed and ability to play any position on the lacrosse field made her a large asset to the Hofstra Women’s Lacrosse Team. In Kerry’s last season at Hofstra in the Spring of 2024, she was named MVP of the team, made the First Team All-Conference for the CAA as a Midfielder and was the highest scorer of the season on the Hofstra Women’s Lacrosse Team with 47 goals. Kerry was also on the Dean’s List as Hofstra in 2024 and was a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll recipient in 2021 and 2022. Kerry recently moved to the Maryland where she is substitute teaching at Calvert School in Baltimore, Maryland and looking forward to bringing her skills and knowledge of lacrosse to the M&D Program.
