Katie returned to Maryland in 2019 after spending two years in San Diego, where she was the Head Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse Coach of Francis Parker School and lead the team to their most successful record in school history. She also started their Middle School program and coached club for MadDog lacrosse.
A graduate of Bucknell University, Katie received her BA in Psychology and Children’s studies and student-coached the team in her senior year. An academic All-American at McDonogh School, Katie returned as an assistant coach at McDonogh from 2014-2016 helping the Eagles go undefeated and ranked as the top team in the nation during that time period. During her years coaching at McDonogh, Katie was also the head coach of M&D 2020 Red. Katie has also assisted the 2025 Black team, and this past year directed our Prep program.

Mary is the head coach for the 2021 IAAM champion St Paul’s school. Mary has a BA from Loyola University in MD where she played both Division 1 field hockey and lacrosse on an athletic scholarship. At Loyola, she was a four-year starter in both sports and was named to the 1987 and 1988 All South Atlantic Lacrosse Teams. Mary was named to the 1980’s All Decade Lacrosse Team for Anne Arundel County, elected to the Severna Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame and nominated to the Greater Baltimore Lacrosse Hall of Fame. She is currently the Varsity Coach for St. Paul’s School for Girls’ lacrosse, in Lutherville. In 2000, Mary earned Coach of the Year honors from the Baltimore Sun. Mary has been coaching for M&D Lacrosse for the past six years. This is her eighth year with M&D 2021 Black.
2026 Black AC
This is Kelsea’s third year as a part of the M&D program. Kelsea is currently the JV Girls Lacrosse Coach at Centennial High School and has worked with the CHS program for four years. During her college years, she participated as a starting midfielder on the Loyola University, Maryland Girls Club Lacrosse team traveling to the WCLA National Tournament during her freshman and senior years. Her love for the sport is founded in her years growing up on Long Island playing for both school and travel teams including the Liberty Lacrosse program. When she is not coaching lacrosse, Kelsea is a middle school Spanish teacher in Ellicott City, MD. Kelsea values the importance of lacrosse fundamentals, physical fitness, coachability and sportsmanship on and off the field.
